What is the meaning of joint document exploitation center?

(DoD) A physical location for deriving intelligence information from captured adversary documents including all forms of electronic data and other forms of stored textual and graphic information. It is normally subordinate to the joint force/J-2. Also called JDEC. See also intelligence.
