time-sharing is a modern approach to communal ownership and use of real estate that permits multiple purchasers to buy undivided interests in real property (usually in a resort condominium or hotel) with a right to use the facility for a fixed or variable time period. Under time-sharing forms of ownership, potential purchasers of property buy fixed or floating time periods for use of a specific apartment within a project.
